Madhya Pradesh state formation taken place on November 1, 1956.  it  lies in the very center of India – the largest state till the formation of Chhattisgarh in 2000. It occupies 9.38% of total area of the country now accounts for 5.88% of india’s population. The primary sector and agriculture contributes to 26 % of the gross state domestic product.The secondary sector accounts for a quarter of the state income whereas, the service sector contributes about 42% of the state income.
